WATCH | Inside the Vogue Olympic June Shoot

Earlier this week Vogue released their June cover with Hope Solo, Ryan Lochte and Serena Williams as their cover ladies and gent. I love it! No, really I do, here’s proof and I shared it on facebook.

Watching the Olympic Games on television is something I’ve done since I was little; the diving, tennis, track and field along with gymnastics are among my favorites, can’t wait to tune in. Vogue is paying homage to the athletes by “dedicating” an entire issue to the Olympians, featuring the cover athletes as well as Johnathan Horton, Dwyane Wade, The Bryan Brothers, Ashton Eaton and more. Check out a few of my favorite shots featuring Olympians and Karlie Kloss draped in Victoria Beckham, Atelier Versace, Oscar de la Renta and more.

Johnathan Horton (Gymnast)

Dwyane Wade (Basketball)

Ashton Eaton (Track & Field)

Bryan Brothers (Tennis)

I love how the garments have movement and texture in each shot! If that wasn’t enough Olympic action and glamour, check out the behind-the-scenes video.

Wow! Most of the athletes started at a young age and were motivated by their dad, sounds like noteworthy Father’s Day material *wink*. Serena’s hair looked amazing (I’ve become obsessed with hair for some reason). Annie Leibovitz is a phenomenal photographer, love her work for this issue. View more shots from the editorial here.
