Wardrobe Igniter: Colored Blazers

Is your wardrobe looking a little drab? Or are you tired of doing the same outfit combinations day in and day out? I have the perfect remedy to resuscitate your closet; colored blazers! A colored blazer will take just about any ensemble from a 1 to a 10 with a quick slip on. Imagine any of the ladies above without their blazer. Pretty plain, right? That blazer instantly ignited their look, making us want it. You too can achieve the same effect. I did a bit of web perusing and found 10 blazers in an assortment of colors to help you set your current wardrobe ablaze.

Fiery Red

Give the open collar blazer by Aryn K (left) a whirl or go semi-traditional with this double-breasted blazer from Forever 21 (right). Either way you can’t go wrong.

Bold Cobalt

Kick your jeans and top up a notch with this oversized and relaxed cobalt blazer (left) or add a little twist with this black lapeled single-breasted blue beauty by Rebecca Minkoff (right). Both styles blue me away…

Vivacious Yellow

Step into the limelight with this Elizabeth and James blazer (left) or bring the sun wherever you go with this Forever 21 blazer (right). You’ll definitely be a ray of light with either one of these styles.

Mellow Yellow & Fresh Green

Radiate a cool aura with this 3.1 Phillip Lim blazer (left) or go green with this relaxed Chiffon Back blazer (right). I love these cool colors, perfect options for the stylish lady with a conservative side.

to test out the “water”. The Facebook eclechicks will let me know instantly if the look, shoe, nail art; whatever we’re discussing, is a yay or nay. Most of those ladies said “yay”. Kim’s look is another stylish way to wear your wardrobe igniter. Wear it atop a muted toned blouse and bring in the zing with colored bottoms! If you’re more conservative, stick to the idea of adding that pop with just the colored blazer.
