Hey eclechicks! I’m super excited about sharing this post with you. As you know, I was in Vegas last week for Project and had a blast! There were so many designers, bloggers, celebrities and just cool people there, the vibe was AMAZING!
While roaming around the different booths in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, I came across the ROOS Shane&Shawn booth. Do you remember ROOS (KangaROOS)? You know the sneakers (with pockets) that were popular when we were little? Still don’t remember them? Perhaps this will refresh your memory…
Now you remember! Now that I think about it, I don’t remember them either…don’t want to reveal my age. Well, Shane&Shawn are taking their shoe design expertise over to ROOS and I’m impressed. The collection consists of Mens, Womens and Kids shoes; in low and high top silhouettes outfitted in cool suedes, bold leathers and chic fabrics. The designs still have the signature pockets but in a more streamlined, fashionable way. Jaclyn showed me her favorite shoe…
Jaclyn ROOS
I wonder if the name had anything to do with her liking them so much. The buckles and colors give this design a modern, funky edge; perfect for the chick that loves to turn heads via her shoes. The gunmetal and burgundy option is my favorite! While Jaclyn and I were talking about the shoes, I noticed another silhouette that stole my heart…
Connie ROOS
Why do I love Connie? Let’s see; the low cut, slip on-slip off design, fun, girly colors and flexibility. Plus, for some reason I’m super lazy when it comes to sneakers. I like no fuss, slip on and off designs that can go with just about anything in my closet (shorts, jeans, dresses, etc.) and Connie meets all of the above.
Connie is a flexible shoe made of a lightweight, breathable material, equipped with the signature ROOS pocket.
The two colors above: mint and fuchsia were my favorite. I had gotten so caught up with the shoes, that I forgot to actually talk to Shane and Shawn; the shoes are really that dope! I suffer from blackouts sometimes when I’m in shopping mode, so yeah, that was a major fail on my part. Buuuuut, I went back the very next day and Shane and Shawn were there!
