I’m a die-hard MJ fan and I was in a whirlwind of curiosity and excitement when Jourdan Dunn shared via her twitter that the Philip Treacy SS 2013 show was basically a tribute to Michael Jackson! The show consisted of an all black model line-up; Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez, Leomie Anderson, Ajak Deng and many more sashayed down the runway in original pieces from MJ’s shows, videos, appearances, etc. paired up with Philip Treacy’s hats! Dope right? That alone had me pumped, but then I remembered I wasn’t there to see it… But I found images and a video of the phenomenal show! While viewing the images, I reminisced on the first time I ever saw Michael perform, the poster that used to hang on my wall of him wearing the guitar belt, how I used to play the Smooth Criminal game on my Sega almost every day in order to get to the dance breakdown and how I cried when I heard of his passing.
