I’ve been a little obsessed with moving and interior design lately, seriously apartment hunting and saving images of different looks that I’d like to incorporate into my new living space has become one of my favorite pastimes. Visions of a chic leopard rug, cool gray couches and a modern, yet stlyish way to display my magazine trove have been on my mind, I never thought I’d find anything near what I just described; that was until I saw Alina Cho’s midtown apartment on Vogue’s website. The national correspondent for CNN had all of that and more, seriously, I want to live in her home! Check it out below.
Love that leopard rug in the foyer, genius way to mask dirt. Did you happen to see how she stores her magazines? In the fireplace, prime location if you don’t use it.
Albeit, purple is my favorite color, I couldn’t help but adore the hints of pink throughout her home. She really added sophistication to the girly color. Did you ever think pink walls could look so contemporary? Me either.
In love with the metal and glass accents! Her bedroom is so dope!
So when I move and start decorating, I’m going to refer to ALL of these pictures. I wonder if it would be easier for me to just move in? Hmmm, Alina if you see this, can I be your roommate? I’m clean, quiet and won’t have any guests over. We can even comb each other’s hair and share shoes (I think. What size do you wear?). View the entire feature and read her interview here.
Do you have any interior design inspirations?

I like this post!! Alina in that dress..gorgeous. I’m not a pink person but those walls definitely work. Accessories for your home is like dressing you it’s all in the details. Great style and post Sereeda!
ps. You sound like the perfect roommate.
Yes, Charli, she was working that dress! You’re right, it’s all in the details. Hopefully Alina will think I’m the perfect roommate too and let me move in.
If I were a single woman living alone I would like a apartment like this with purple walls preferably. Wait, I am single! HA! However, this is a tad to girly for me and the kids. I would like something styled like this but with more masculine details. If that make any sense.
But, with all that said, this is a great apartment and I am going to pin a few of these pictures.
Purple is my favorite color! Pin away; they’re lovely pictures.
