I frequent Melody Ehsani’s tumblr quite often. I admire her work, love her style and am inspired by her drive. Recently she went on a trip to a place that I will visit sometime in this life; Egypt. Her pictures are phenomenal, so wonderful that I had to share them with you. Enjoy…
Aren’t her pyramid shots breathtaking? The history, the enchanting artifacts; all there, virtually frozen in time. I’m a bit of a history buff so things of this nature excite me. I love being surrounded by new and different cultures, taking in the various sites and learning. Don’t you? Often times we gather different styles from experiences like Melody’s. Case in point, Henna or Mehndi tattoos; dating back to 1200 BC Egypt, new discoveries show that this tradition was used in ancient Egypt to stain the fingers and toes of the Pharoahs prior to mummification. It is believed that the art form was done to protect them and ensure a happy afterlife. Very interesting…
I’m sure she found tons of inspiration while visiting Egypt; hopefully some dope jewelry will come from it, my fingers are crossed! There are so many places on this earth to explore, gain from and enrich our lives; get out there! Egypt is one place on my “Jet Setter” list. What’s on yours?

P.S. I’ve been thinking of adding more travel adventures to the site, this along with What’s Hatching?: Louis Vuitton – Crystals Las Vegas is my first crack at it. Love or loathe? Let me know.
