A few months ago I was doing an image inventory in the mirror, you know; pimple watch, dark spot check and pore survey; when I noticed some bags (more like clutches) under my eyes. Insert panic alarm tone! The only type of bags I want to see are Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Chloe…or my luggage rolling through the airport; definitely don’t want bags under my eyes.
A frantic research on the best eye cream began and after many trial and errors I came across a sample of Flawless Skin Repair Eye Serum by Laura Mercier. It’s an eye genie in a bottle! I knew it was good when I found myself scraping the bottom of my container when my sample was clearly all gone. Thoughts of taking the cheap way out; visiting the Laura Mercier counter continuously getting samples when mine ran out danced through my mind, this stuff ISN’T cheap – $80, but I scratched that idea after envisioning how desperate that would look. So I broke down and placed my order on Sephora.com (seriously addicted to that store!)
A few days passed (which felt like an eternity) and I finally received my eye savior!
We exchanged vows, and I said, “Eye Do” to Flawless Skin Repair Eye Serum, vowing to apply it morning and night, replenish it when it gets low and make it last forever. You’ve heard the saying, “A little goes a long way” and that notion definitely applies to this under eye bag packer.
Shown above is the amount I use for both eyes and it works wonders. Not only does it send those clutches, duffle bags and carry on bags out the door, this miracle cream creates a luminous glow! There’s something about glowing, shimmering and bronzing that automatically ups the want level in relation to beauty products and this little bottle has it.
Under eye cream is an important component in your skin care regimen. The skin under your eyes happens to be a lot thinner than the rest of the skin on your face, making it more susceptible to fine lines and wrinkles. That delicate skin requires a different, more concentrated moisturizer to prevent the early onset of dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, a little more oomph than what is typically found in the moisturizer you apply to your face. So if you don’t have one, I suggest investing in one, this one! Yes, $80 is a little steep, but I’ve had this bottle since May and don’t see me running out anytime soon, so it’s really not too bad. Plus I’d rather spend a little now to get rid of/prevent huge bags and wrinkles versus having to look at huge bags later on in life and more than likely spend more to get rid of them.
I said Eye Do and haven’t filed divorce papers yet, we’re in this for life unless Laura Mercier stops producing it. Do you use an eye cream? Which one?
